Experience Matters!
Thank you for taking a moment to learn a little more about me and what I've created for your success.
I had been a smoker, off and on, since the age of 14. It was easy to quit when I was preparing to be a mom, but over time, I found that I wasn't mentally able to quit cold turkey anymore. I came down with a bad case of bronchitis in 2001, coughing for several weeks, so I knew I had to quit or have permanent damage. I used the patch and had a bad reaction from the nicotine poison in it. I had heard about hypnosis but I didn't think it would work mainly because I thought it was something it wasn't. With the encouragement of my husband and family, I made the appointment, thinking what have I got to lose? Well, I walked out a nonsmoker and here I am 23 years later, offering my knowledge and experience for what works since that person didn't address my triggers or habits effectively enough.
When I began creating the Tobacco Freedom process, I was working closely with doctors and physicians assistants while on staff with John C Lincoln Wellness Elements. Many of them were prescribing a drug or suggesting nicotine replacements. When they saw and experienced the results of integrative clinical hypnotherapy (what I call "subconscious intervention") they began referring their patients to me. The more I worked with their patients, the more I learned what worked and didn't work over those 6 years. When Honor Health no longer needed our services I looked at it as a blessing and have now been in private practice, gaining even more experience in providing this service. Additionally, my biggest form of flattery are those I've helped quit and are now trying their best to re-create my unique process to help others.
Because I am also an integrative mind-body therapist, I will guide you on this journey to release any fears, doubts or anything else that could get in the way of your long term success. One session, really! This process is not so much about me, but about you and what it will take for you to release nicotine from your life for your life!
Yes, Experience Matters!
On a personal note I bagan my journey into the mind-body connection in changing behaviors from birth. My mom, a nurse, was also an integral influence in teaching me the mind-body connection to most dis-ease. After raising my boys, I began my formal education in 1999. I'm originally from Columbia, Missouri, I have been in Glendale AZ for the past 33 years. I'm a mom and a grandmom. I enjoy exploring and adventuring all the wonders of Arizona. I hike often with my dogs, Maisie and Jasper, and many times with my sons and grandson. Being in nature brings me the peace and inspiration needed to do this work.
I look forward to meeting with you to learn more about you and what you have tried and what is needed for you to be successful this time. If you're shopping around, you have nothing to lose by coming in for the free consult. You'll even learn how this will forever change your life like it did mine. And, there's absolutely no pressure. I'm a true believer in choice.
